2.1 Eligibility and age

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

2.2 What the Service is

SYGNS is an entertainment and personal reflection tool designed to explore patterns, cycles, symbols and insights. The Service may present prompts, summaries and other content that is interpretive and subjective. The Service does not provide medical care, counseling, clinical assessment or crisis support.

2.3 Important safety notice

Do not use the Service in an emergency. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. If you are in the United States or Canada, call or text 988.

2.4 No professional advice

The Service does not provide medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not rely on the Service as a substitute for advice from qualified professionals.

2.5 AI and content limitations

Some Service content may be generated or assisted by automated systems, including AI. Automated outputs can be incorrect or misleading and they may reflect patterns in data rather than truth about you. You agree not to treat any output as definitive, factual or tailored guidance.

2.6 Accounts and user inputs

The Service may allow you to enter information, make selections or create in app notes or responses, collectively "Inputs". You are responsible for your Inputs and for keeping any device level passcodes or access controls you use to protect your phone or tablet.

2.7 License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non commercial use, subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• use the Service to harass, threaten, exploit or harm others
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service
• interfere with the Service or attempt to access it using automated means not provided by us
• share, resell or make the Service available to others except as allowed by applicable app store terms

2.8 Purchases, subscriptions and tokens

The Service may offer paid features including subscriptions, weekly subscriptions, monthly subscriptions and consumable in app purchases such as tokens. Prices and available options are shown in the Service at the time of purchase.

Billing and renewals: If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store or another platform, payment will be charged to your account and the subscription may renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the then current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.

Tokens and spending: Tokens are optional consumable items that can be used for in app features. Token purchases are final except where required by law or app store policy. Please monitor your spending and stop purchasing tokens if you feel you are losing control of your spending or usage.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by the platform where you purchased, for example Apple. We do not control platform refund decisions.

2.9 Intellectual property

The Service and all related content, features and functionality are owned by SYGNS and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license granted above, no rights are granted to you.

2.10 Third party services

The Service may rely on third party services such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting and payment processing. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms and privacy practices.

2.11 Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR FREE OR SECURE OR THAT ANY OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR USEFUL.

2.12 Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYGNS AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

2.13 Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SYGNS and its owners, officers, employees, contractors and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

2.14 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

2.15 Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms with a revised "Last updated" date and we may provide additional notice within the Service. Your continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

2.16 Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

3.1 Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the App and certain device, network and usage information automatically collected through mobile platforms and service providers.

3.2 How We Use Information

We use information to operate, maintain and improve the App, provide features, process payments, support users, conduct analytics and comply with legal obligations.

3.3 Anonymized and Aggregated Data

We may create anonymized and aggregated data sets derived from information collected through the App. Such anonymized and aggregated data is not personal information under applicable privacy laws. Such data does not identify you and cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We may use such anonymized and aggregated data for any lawful business purpose, including analytics, research, product development, benchmarking, reporting and commercialization, including by sharing or selling such data to third parties.

3.4 Information Sharing

We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating the App, processing payments, analytics and customer support. We do not sell personal information as defined under applicable privacy laws.

3.5 Payments and Identifiers

Payments are processed through third party platforms which may collect transaction related information and device identifiers in accordance with their own policies.

3.6 Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App and fulfill the purposes described in these Legal Terms, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

3.7 User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding access to or deletion of your information. Requests may be submitted through the contact information below.

3.8 Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under thirteen (13) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.
